Writing her first song at age 3 and starting piano lessons at age 6, Covenant Award winning artist Janee Olivia has become a trend-setting and talented arranger, songwriter, musician, and singer.

 

She began her career featuring on projects with gospel hip-hop artist N.i.F.T.Y., r&b singing sensation Aion (Voyce) Clarke and Canadian hip-hop/soul artist Promise. As time went on, Janee began to attract the attention of industry professionals and to date, has now made a significant name for herself.

Aside from touring with artists such as Alyssa Reid, and Country artist Johnny Reid, Janee has honed her craft behind the scenes as an arranger, arranging vocals for notable artists such as Canadian band, The Midway State, who is known for the official ringback song.

 

Janee has performed around Canada as a background vocalist for Keshia Chante, Kim Davis, Andrea Lewis, Former Sugar Jones member Julie Chrochetiere to name a few and has shared venues with seasoned artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Kardinal Offishall, FeFe Dobson, Melanie Durrant, Glenn Lewis, and Mary Mary.

 

With a gospel acoustic project under her belt and another Ep on the way, Janee Olivia hopes her listeners will relate to her real life experiences as they are translated into a musical message of
encouragement, life, and love.
